I have a number of Exchange admins, all in the Organization Management group, however i have 2 of them that are unable to see activesync device details.

For example, they go to view the activesync devices of a user, they can see the device and block/allow/delete it, however if they double click on the device to see details like last sync time they get taken to the AS policy page.

Any thoughts?

Are they members of any other RBAC group that might not have access to activesync device cmdlets?

Please check if that two admins are also in Server Management role group.

If they have been in Server Management role group, then run the following command on worked admin and those two admins, and check what permissions they lack of.

Get-RoleGroup -Filter {Members -eq 'contoso.com/users/Administrator'}

So we determined that the account needs to have a mailbox... this seems silly as they can do everything else without one. But as soon as i gave the admin account a mailbox it worked.
