Additional Exchange Server Setup Failure
Hi There,I'm trying to install an additional Exchange Server for my company.Well, I've faced a few issues\scenarios here.Error:The component "Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration Services" cannot be assigned the action "Install" because:-You either did not have permissions to complete this operation or Active Directory has not replicated all the necessary permissions for the deleted items containers. Please check that you have the necessary permissions to modified Exchange components and that replication is complete before running setup.Domain structure: primary forest with a few child domainExample: contoso.inc, my1.contoso.inc, my2.contoso.inc, my3.contoso.incEmail Domain: All users from forest and child using same email address as contoso.com1. I am a sysadmin in on of the child domain, let say my2.contoso.inc.So, I login into the server (svrmybe-exch.my2.contoso.inc) which I plan to install the additional Exchange Server as child domain administrator. Which is my2\administrator, this administrator is having full access rights(domain, schema, enterprise) for all forest and child domain. But since this account is not an Exchange Admin, so seeing the above error is reasonable, right?2. I login to the server with contoso\my.administrator.This account has been created by the forest admin, assign full domain rights and also exchange admin right for me to setup the additional Exchange server. Now, what happen is, I've found that I do not have administrator's rights on the server.Even though I've been assigned with full administrator's rights (Both forest and child domain, include Exchange) for this account. How do I check or what might have been wrong in this situation?

Issue Resolved:Actually, the forest domain admin has yet give me any permission for installing Exchange Server.I found it while read through Exchange server installation logs. The other thing about administrator rights, that is the directory trust issue.Which someone had already been mentioned.I cover this one by promoting that server to a DC.Anyway, thanks to anyone who tried to help.Regards,Alfred Lamdolles
