Hi First add a new accepted domain for XYZ.com, then create an email address policy which gives users an @XYZ.com SMTP address and finally point the MX record for XYZ.com to the same server as ABC.com - of this server is hosted by a 3rd party (like spam filtering) you will probably need to tell them too. You shouldn't have to make any changes in the internal DNS - the only DNS change would be to the MX record.

In this issue, you just need to add one new accepted domain for XYZ.com and create one mx record ( for xyz.com) point to your Exchange Server. Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
