Adding the 2nd mailbox in Outlook

Hello,

I have exchange 2013 environment with MS office 2010 on clients' PC's

Is there any change to add the second mailbox in Outlook without typing a username and password ?

I know about this way: http://support.sherweb.com/Faqs/Show/how-to-add-another-persons-mailbox-to-your-outlook-2013-profile-exchange-2013

But if you send an e-mail using the second mailbox a message still goes in Sent items of the 1st mailbox and it is really inconvenient

Thank you in advance

Hello,

Make sure that you are keeping the From address as the second mailbox.

Also see, if you already installed the patch mentioned here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2181579. It says this as a known issue

Hi ,

1.In exchange 2010 and exchange 2013 there is a feature called "Auto mapping" which would map additional mailboxes automatically to the primary mailbox. No need to map the additional mailboxes manually .

Auto Mapping More Info :

2.Secondly in exchange 2013 CU9 you can able to achieve the below mentioned requirement.

Requirement : But if you send an e-mail using the second mailbox a message still goes in Sent items of the 1st mailbox and it is really inconvenient.

Hi Santarem01,

Thank you for your question.

First, if we want to send email by the send email, we should click the second mailbox account, then click New Email.

If the issue persist, we suggest you delete all outlook profiles, then re-create outlook profile and re-add the second account to check if the issue persist.

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
