Adding stencils to my shapes

Hello,

I have Visio proffessional 2013 32 bit version and I am having trouble adding Visio stencils to my shapes.

I download the stencils and place them in my shapes folder in my documents.

I open a Visio drawing and go to my shapes and try to open the stencil I downloaded and I am recieving errors stating that I have to go into the trust center. I go into the trust center and file block settings. The 3 choices at the top are all checked.

The ones at the bottom are all grayed ot I cant click on them.

Can someone help with this?

The 3 choices at the top are all checked

These options should be UN-checked. If option is checked that means that corresponding file type is blocked.

You are most probably trying to use some old stencils originating from Visio 2000 or below. This is blocked by default for security reasons.

Has anyone ever reported any security problem with older format Visio stencils? No, thought not.

I also find it an odd idea to block "old" files.. Just hope that there is some real issue behind. Found this as an explanation. Does not sound seriously enough to me but at least something:
