Adding a Contacts public folder
Can someone explain to me in simple english how to create a public folder that contains contacts in Exchange 2007? I have tried powershell and other methods with no success. It use to be a simple task to do and I do not understand why this has to be complicated. When I try from Outlook I do not have permissions. When I try from the Public Folder management console it creates the folder for mail items not contacts. Did Microsoft forget that there are other types of folders other than mail items?I have tried the PS stuff and got various non working results. So assuming I am a total idiot, what are the steps 1 by 1 to add a public folder that contains contacts that can be edited by anyone in the organization. It seems simple, but so far has been impossible to accomplish.

http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF018.html also be aware you require additional permissions to create top-level folders: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb310789(EXCHG.80).aspx
