Adding a second server is very simple, just install it.Everything that has to do with schema prep etc. has already been done for the first server.Mail will flow between servers, both for internal and from or to Internet. That means you can have some users on server 1 and some users on server 2.The only problem is if you're using services from Internet such as OWA, outlook anywhere or Exchange Active Sync. Because you dont have FrontEnd serve, request willbe redirectedbetween servers instead of proxy. That means you have to have internet access to each server.lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com

HI, If the new exchange server going tin to the same active Directory, then it is real easy. Just run Exchange setup on the new server and then it will ask join o existing one or create new one, just choose the join option. Once it is complete you will see under Exchange System Manager the two servers. You can then freely move mailboxes between servers and setup Public Folder Replication. As a said lasse there is s issuse regarding OWA loging. You canuse ISA box and publish OWA through it Resource Installing New Exchange 2003 Servers Regards Chinthaka
