Add 2003 Enterprise to and existing 2003 Standard
We have Exchage 2003 Stanadard setup and running. We are wanting to move to Exchange 2003 Enterprise. We set up a server and installed Exchange 2003 Enterprise. All Services appear to running. We moved a mailbox over to the new server.Moved with no problem. We logged into that mailbox using OWA on the new server. We send out on that new server, but it does not get routed out through the existing Exchange 2003 Standard box... No matter what though, we can not send mail to that mailbox and it be received. There is a queue for it looking at the existing 2003 Standard server, saying retry. We can ping the new server, and telnet to port 25 responds.Under Tools, Monitoring and Status, Status, the new Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise server is showing as unavailable, (Weird we moved a mailbox to it....)Now, on the new Exchange 2003 Enterprise server...Under Tools, Monitoring and Status, Status, the new Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise server is showing as unavailable,as well as the Exchange 2003 Standard server....If we ping the name of the first server, it replies with the exteral IP and does not respond. We can ping the internal IP just fine.... We can do a telnet to server name port 25 on the standard edition box..So, what's up???

Which server is routing group master? Check routing engine services on both servers, make sure they are running.Increase diagonistics logging on MSExchange Transport | All Categories to 7 using Registry Editor. Check the event logs.V Bala R Krishna
