Active Directory and Exchange 2010
Is there a good technical document out there the details how Exchange 2010 works with Active directory. What requirements 2010 has on AD. We implemented Exch 2010 with a mix of AD 2003 and 2008 and have had a few issues with slowness. A consulting is telling us that we may not be to spec with AD... Thanks jwilmer

Hello can you please provide more details about your environment? For example you will need an AD with Global Catalog role on each site where you have an exchange mailbox server etc. Also you may want to download and read the IPG for exchange 2010. We have 2 sites with 3 MB and 3 CAS/Hub in each. Each site has 2 domain controllers that are both GCs. jwilmer

This will give you some understanding about AD and Exchange. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123715.aspx Exchange 2010 will not work with Windows 2003or 2003 SP1. Exchange 2010 needs at least Widows2003 SP2 - AD.>>:::.... if you find it useful, mark this as answer ...:::<< Thanks & Regards, Sandheep [...:::""I can't do it" never yet accomplished anything; "I will try" has performed wonders ":::...]
