Active Directory Company Info template?
Hello there I have been tasked with the project to set a company template (Address, City, Zip etc) to be populated before I set up new users on our Domain. Currently I do this manually for each new user which clearly isnt very productive. When the information is setup I notice the fields in the Exchange template are automatically updated with the information I just entered in AD. My question is, how do I setup that template to be filled PRIOR to setting up a user? GPO? If this is possible, can someone direct me how to do this? Sorry if I am in the wrong forum, I didnt know exactly where to ask this question. Thanks for your time

It is purely an AD issue, and isn't controlled by group policy. You have two options. 1. Script the creation of users, so that information is populated as part of the script. 2. Use a template user which you copy to create a new user. This would be a user that has not been mail enabled. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.
