Hi guys I need help , I have never before configured activeSync. I don't have many exp. in configuring exchange and I've read some of instructions how to configure it. But I need instructions which resource records do I need to create on ISP so that can work. My domain is in format name.local and registered domain name is in format name-name2.com. Do I need to create something in exchange. like remote domains or accepted domains or what ??

One more question. Firm is now currently using IMAP (ISP) for emails, exchange for calendar, tasks, contacts (via shared folders) so do I need to create MX record on ISP to point to exchange (is this mandatory for autodisc.) or I can leave so users can continue to use IMAP , but can synchronize calendars, tasks ... over autodiscovery ??

I just deployed Exchange 2010 and getting activesync working was a pain. you need to create autodiscover.domain.com as well as having a UCC Certificate. with exchange 2003 and 2007 we where using a wildcard ssl and worked fine but now with exchange 2010 it wont work correctly i had to purchase a UCC SSL once that was in place worked like a charm with windows mobile and even iphone's and use this website for testing https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ helped me discover my ssl issues
