I have an account unkown showing up in my security permissions for exchange 2003. If I take the inherited permissions out and delete the account, and put the inherited permissions back on the unknown account shows back up. Any suggestions on this would be helpful. Thanks

Sounds like the permissions are coming from higher up in the directory tree. Where are you looking at the security permissions? Have you looked at the groups and accounts that have been assigned permissions in the Exchange Administration Delegation Wizard? Tony www.activedir.org
