Account Mixups
We have someone who createda new domain and exchange accounts on Server 2003 and he somehow linked the new account to an existing address as well as the new one. Here is an example: user1 was already an established user. His mailbox was domain/user1 with a username of user1. user2 is thenewly created account. His mailbox is domain/user2 with a login name of user2. When an e-mail is sent to user1, it says it's from user2.user1 now has an account/mailbox of domain/user1 but with the login of user2 and user2 has an account/mailbox of domain/user2. How do I get the mailbox and domain account of user1 to come from user1 and user2 to come from user2. This issomewhat hard to explain so please let me know if anyone needs further clarification. Thank you for your help. Ryan

I am not sure how this could have happened, but you can delete both mailboxes then on the mailbox store run the Mailbox Cleanup agent. Once the mailboxes have a little red and white 'x' over them, then reconnect them to the appropriate account.
