Accessing Public Folders

Hello,

We have recently migrated from our on-prem Exchange 2013 server to Office 365. Following the migration it was discovered that there is a public folder that some users had access to that was not migrated.

We did not migrate in the traditional sense, instead we just created PST files within Outlook, changed the mailbox Outlook was looking at and then imported the pst's. This worked fine along with the necessary dns changes.

The problem I have now is that Outlook clients will not connect to the old on prem exchange in order to export the public folder. Is there any other way, apart from using Outlook, that I can get access to the public folder currently help on the on-prem server?

Thanks.

There is some third party software which can help you out to export public folders from on-premises server; whether your server in online or offline mode. If you're interested, download the demo version of stellar edb pst converter utility to see how easily you can export public folders from on-prem server/edb file to pst format.
