Access to Outlook Mail by non-Mail-enabled User
I apologize if this is already addressed and I just didn't find the thread. My company uses Lotus Notes predominently, but we now have about 100 Exchange/Outlook users. Quite often I am asked to provide a manager access to a terminated employees mail file. The problem now exists when I have a Lotus Notes manager asking for access to an Outlook mailbox. My initial thought was to provide the user with access to the Outlook mailbox through OWA. This seemed like a good idea until I realized I could only assign access to another mail-enabled account (i.e. even thought the manager is in the same AD domain, I can't assign him rights to the mailbox because he uses Lotus Notes and is not mail-enabled). Am I missing something here? Is there a way to do this? I don't like the idea of creating a new account, mail enabling it and giving him a second account. Nor am I happy with the idea of using ExMerge to create a PST, migrating it to an NSF file and then giving a static copy of the mail file to the manager. Any suggestions?

OWA should work the manager jus thas to have the terminated user's id and password (and OWA has to be setup to request authentication).
