Access denied when using Exchange Management Shell on Windows 7 workstation
We are running Exchange 2007 SP1 and I am able to run cmdlets in the Management Shell successfully when logged onto the Exchange server. I have installed the Exchange Management Console and Shell on my Windows 7 workstation and when I attempt to run a cmdlet - usiing the same account as when logged onto the Exchange server - I am getting an access denied error. The cmdlet I am attempting to run is: Remove-MailboxPermission -Identity 'CN=James Vandenberg,OU=BNE-Users,OU=BNE,OU=User,DC=brn,DC=com,DC=au' -User 'BRENCL-AU\adm.jkv' -InheritanceType 'All' -AccessRights 'FullAccess'The error is: Remove-MailboxPermission : Failed to commit the change on object "e1b8576c-9219-4310-9a15-eecdfc884d21" because access is denied. At line:1 char:25+ Remove-MailboxPermission <<<< -Identity 'CN=James Vandenberg,OU=BNE-Users,OU=BNE,OU=User,DC=brn,DC=com,DC=au' -User 'BRENCL-AU\adm.jkv' -InheritanceType 'All' -AccessRights 'FullAccess' + CategoryInfo: WriteError: (0:Int32) [Remove-MailboxPermission], MapiAccessDeniedException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : EC9C2641,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.RecipientWhen I attempt to make this change in the Management Console on my workstation I receive this error: FailedError:Failed to commit the change on object "e1b8576c-9219-4310-9a15-eecdfc884d21" because access is denied.MapiExceptionNoAccess: Unable to set mailbox SecurityDescriptor.
