Access Denied NDR
I have one user attempting to e-mail outside the company and she is receiving a NDR saying The recipient could not be processed because it would violate the security policy in force. <server.mydomain #5.7.0 smtp;550 5.7.0 Access Denied> I am able to e-mail the same recipient with no problem. We are running Exchange Server 2003. All clients are Outlook 2003 although she is one of two users still using 2000 instead of XP as the OS. I have checked the allow and deny lists in Exchange and there are no issues there.Exchange shows the messagewas never transferred to the recipient's server. Any ideas?

Did you ever resolve this problem? I have a user receiving the same message when sending to 4 different recipients with an attachment. All recipients are within our domain.

Never did resolve the problem. The user did get a new computer with XP pro and haven't had any problems since then so I have no idea what was causing it.

Are you still seeing this problem? I have the same issue. A user got almost the same message The recipient could not be processed because it would violate the security policy in force <server.mydomain #5.7.0 smtp;550 5.7.0 <recipient's email address>... Local Policy Violation> I tried to email the recipient and got the same thing. We're running Exch2003 and XP pro. The recipient is outside my domain, but I do have a local contact in AD for her.
