Access Bug in table display multiplicates header row

Please have a look at the screenshot below: The header row of the table is multiplicated and hides the actual row content. This bug can be easily reproduced by using the vertical scrollbar to scroll up and down a few times, stopping sometimes inbetween without releasing the left mouse button. Anybody else able to reproduce this, or does it have anything to do with my system (win8 64bit with office 2013 64bit)? Hopefully this will be fixed soon, as it looks quite messy. Stefan

Hi,

Based on my test with Access 2013, and I could not reproduce the issue on my PC.

And as this issue, I guessed that maybe this issue is caused by hardware acceleration.

Go to File -> General -> check the option "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" to check the issue.

If the above method cannot solve the issue, then try to start Access 2013 in safe mode to check whether the issue is caused by some add-ins.

I started in safe mode, deactivated hardware acceleration. Did not make any difference. If you want we can arrange a teamviewer session and I show you on my notebook.

Hi,

Try to create a new database then check the issue.

Also, try to repair Office 2013 to check. If after repairing, the issue still occurs, then try to start Windows in clean boot to check whether the issue is caused by some third party services.

Hello Jaynet,

I have this annoying problem, too.
It seems to occour only on Windows 8.
I can reproduce it on two different computers using Access-2002-Runtime or Access-2013.

None of your hints resolves this issue, any other idea?

thanks, alex.

I got the same problem on two computers. (Win 8 & Office 2013).

It append when I'm scrolling up in the table. When I'm scrolling down, it's okay.

Thanks you.

Reproduces when Scroll bar is used.  I found that if I used the arrows at the top and bottom of the scroll bar it did not happen on my system.  Hopefully a fix will come out soon.  It is slow to scroll thru a large number of recs with the arrows.  My system is Windows 8 with Access 2013
