Access 2003 - 2010 cannot relate ODBC tables with access tables via primary key?

We are experiencing an issue with Access 2010 where we relate an Access table to an ODBC linked table from SYSPRO (our ERP software). If we create a relationship using the primary key from the SYSPRO table then we only get 1 result, even if there are 1000 results we only get one. If we copy the SYSPRO table and link to the copy instead and create the same relationship we get back all results, not just one.

This issue began when we upgraded to Access 2010. Our previous version was Access 97 and it worked fine. We installed and tested Access 2003 and 2007 and were able to duplicate the issue that we are experiencing with 2010.

I really can't understand why Microsoft would take this ability away and why no one else has complained about it. Maybe people aren't realizing it's happening or like us have found ways around it. Going forward though we would like it corrected.

Thanks,

Jessica
