Accepting calendar invites from lotus notes as a delegate
Hello and thank you for reading my question. Hopefully I am not the only person that is coming up with this problem. We get a lot of meeting requests, internal and external. One of the companies uses Lotus Notes. When a Delegate is accepting a meeting request (generated from the company using Lotus Notes) on behalf of the recipient, The meeting request gets put on the delegate's calendar and not the intended recipient. The meeting requests come through as an ics file. The problem does not exist when the generated meeting request is from an exchange environment. Our company is using Microsoft Exchange 2010 SP1 on an Windows Server 2008 R2 and the clients are using Outlook 2007. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix? Thanks in advance

Hello, Does this issue occur when the meeting request was sent from an Exchange org? If not, it seems the issue is with the Lotus Notes. You may ask the Lotus Notes support for assistance. Thanks, Simon

Hi Thanks for the reply. The messages come through OK from exchange. However the default for Lotus Notes is to send an ics file. If the user who its sent tyo opens the ics file its OK. However if a delegate opens it Outlook says the user opening and accepting the invite is teh one accepting. is there any ways that Outlook can say this invite is for user a and put this in his calendar entry not the delegates
