Hi Jesper, thanks for your reply. The Edge Server are configured as standalone in dmz and need work with HUB Server in exist domain. Now i have removed the existent subscription for all 2 Edge Server and make a new one with the command: New-EdgeSubscription -Site "Default-First-Site-Name" -Filename "myfile.xml" only on 1 Edge server. After i connect to one HUB and create a new subscription from HUB using a previous files, but if i try to start the Sync have the same error: RunspaceId : b820a3e2-cca1-419e-a15c-0d1a37704e4d Result : CouldNotConnect Type : Recipients Name : myedge02 FailureDetails : StartUTC : 22/03/2011 14:28:27 EndUTC : 22/03/2011 14:28:27 Added : 0 Deleted : 0 Updated : 0 Scanned : 0 TargetScanned : 0 RunspaceId : b820a3e2-cca1-419e-a15c-0d1a37704e4d Result : CouldNotConnect Type : Configuration Name : myedge02 FailureDetails : StartUTC : 22/03/2011 14:28:27 EndUTC : 22/03/2011 14:28:27 Added : 0 Deleted : 0 Updated : 0 Scanned : 0 TargetScanned : 0 [PS] C:\>Test-EdgeSynchronization RunspaceId : b820a3e2-cca1-419e-a15c-0d1a37704e4d SyncStatus : Failed UtcNow : 22/03/2011 14:28:37 Name : myedge02 LeaseHolder : LeaseType : None FailureDetail : EdgeSync service cannot connect to this subscription because of error "No EdgeSync creden tials were found for Edge transport server myedge02.mydomain.local on the local Hub Tr ansport server. Create a new certificate on both Hub and Edge. While on Edge, create a new subscription and import that file onto the Hub. Let us know if that works.

Does this issue happen on both Edge servers or just myedge02.mydomain.local? Have you replaced the certificates installed by default during setup?Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi Jose, i try to unscribe on HUB and recreate a certificate only on "Edge Server" with : a. Open up an empty mmc console (Run -> mmc) b. Select File -> Add / Remove Snap-in c. Hit Add d. Select “Certificates” from the List of Snap-Ins available, and hit Add. e. Select “Service Account” on the “Certificates Snap-In” page, click next. f. Select “Local Computer” on the “Select Computer” page, click next. g. Select “Microsoft Exchange ADAM” from the list of services, click Finish. h. Close the “Add Snap-in” dialog. i. Navigate to “Certifcates – Service” -> “ADAM_MSExchange\Personal” -> Certificates j. You should see a single certificate here. Remove it. h. restart MS ADAM Exchange Unscribe on Edge and create a newsubscription and import it on hub but not works. How i can create a new certificate on HUB Server ? Why the edgesync doesnt work ? I'am going crazy!! Thanks in advance.

Hi Jespher , thanks for you reply. I see your link and have hecked for a HUB certificate with the command: [PS] C:\Windows\system32>Get-ExchangeCertificate Thumbprint Services Subject ---------- -------- ------- 7312CC21FCA3F17D786259E9FDE4FE3FC8AC29D2 IP.W.. CN=webmail.mydomain.com, OU=XXXX, O=MyCompany, L=London, S=UK... 7AAED044D2BA33402BD2356EA6A00CEFBFD909D3 ....S. CN=MY-HUB02 0A752915B33A5C7A3F3E9651E4110EBFAC064683 ....S. CN=MY-HUB02 and found 2 server certificate fo MY-HUB02 Maybe this the problem ? Thanks in advance.

Having multiple certificates in the store shouldn't be a problem. Missing certificates all together would. Reading the error message "EdgeSync service cannot connect to this subscription because of error "No EdgeSync credentials were found for Edge transport server myedge02 on the local Hub Transport server." indicates that perhaps there's something wrong, like missing certificate, on myedge02. Please run Get-ExchangeCertificate on your Edge servers and let us know the result.Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi guys, it's possible that the cause is a changed primary ip-address that i need to do on my hub server ? I have changed only a primary ipaddress on HUB server (nothing change to netbios name or domain) and after i installed a new edge server and tried to subscribe but have the problem above. After ip-address changed i have also reboot the server , check the log for error and verify the name resolution for a dns or netbios problem but all seems ok. Also the firewall rule beetween the HUB and EDGE are ok. What's happen ? Thanks in advance.

By what means does your Edge Servers resolve your Hub Transport servers? If it is by entries in the local HOSTS file then you need to update the entries to reflect your changed IP address on the Hub. If by DNS make sure the IP address comes back ok by using NSLOOKUP. Perhaps you nees to run Ipconfig /flushdns on the servers.Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

I would create a new certificate on both Edge and Hub. While on Edge, create a subscription and imported it on your Hub.
