A redirection question
Exchange 2007 server, clients using Outlook 2007. I have a manager that has his own email address with his name(user@example.org). Easy enough! However, he also wants all email going to another email account not used by or assigned to any one person (department@example.org) sent to his email account so he can respond to it. When he responds to a message that has been redirected to him in this manner, he wants to know if it's possible to send it back out with the department@example.org email address as the source instead of his user@example.org address without him doing anything differently. First of all, I'm not exactly sure how to do this. Secondly, I'm concerned that what will happen is that if I do get the mail redirected from the department@example.orgaccount to his user@example.org account, he'll not be logging into the department@example.org account to check the mail there, and the mail will still be piling up in the department@example.org account until the size limit is reached. I obviously don't want this. Thirdly, I'd like to make this process to where it would be simple to change the redirectionfrom user@example.org to otheruser@example.org so that if he wants to let someone else do it that we could make it happen. I'm looking for the BEST solution. Is there hope?
