AD disabled user can login through OWA 2007?Why?
Hi. I have seen that if I disable a user in AD still he can login to his OWA session and can work normally. Is it normal? if yes then what can be the proper solution so if I disable user in AD then he should not be able to use any email resources as well?

No ways this is usual..Is this 2003 or 2007? Have you tries taking out the exchange attribute from that user in case of 2003. In case of exch 2007 try disconnecting his mail box Raj

Yes it is. Its Exchange 2007. I don't want to disconnect mailbox explicitly. I just want to disable in AD and that's all it should disable all services. Is there any way MSFTs?

Hi, No its not possible. If you disable the user then in no case he can login to owa. Please check that replication is taking place properly. As it seems to be replication issue. Thanks.

Hi, You can also disable OWA by using Set-CasMailbox yourMailboxID -OWAEnabled $false This way user will not be able to use OWA login. Same way you can disable other protocols too for this user like IMAP (IMAPEnabled), POP3 (POPEnabled) and MAPI(MAPIEnabled).
