I was thinking more of AD not exchange. I wanted to make it so each user that was created has the logon name of %FirstName.%LastName

Hi
Scott,
I
have doubt that can be done as like configuring display name format by setting
an attribute ofuser-Display in display specifier because you may have
many people in large organization with same firstname & lastname while
logon name should be unique across.
However
you can take a look at scripted solution for existing users and for new users
scheduling the same script.

Also
suggest you to post this query in AD/Windows forum to get better options from
the AD experts on the best practices they follow for similar situation.Directory Service forum:http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/winserverDS/threads/Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
