ADM for sharepoint authentication
Hello,we are going online with sharepoint next week and there are still a few things need to be done :) at the moment sharepoint isconstantly requesting user authentication and i was asked to fix this. as i'm a total newbie to group policy and custom adm files i was hoping for somebody to give me some hints and tips on this.In general i have to write an adm file to do the following:Start Internet Explorer Tools -> Internet Options -> Custom Level Button Scroll to bottom Select Automatic logon with current username and password Click OKcan this actually be done using custom adm and how do i find out the registry value to be changedor will it have to be done using ascript?Any help on this would be gretaly appreciated, as at the moment i'm not even sure how to approach the whole problem. Many thanks in advanceregardsruth

This is the group policy forums. I still think it's more sharepoint related though. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverGP/threads Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com

Hi Ruth, If you wanna apply automatic log group policy, write a post on WinserverGP forum. If youre meeting a Sharepoint issue, try SharePoint forum. This is Exchange forum, its not the best place for your question. Thanks, Elvis
