ABP for multiple child
Hi, I have root and multiple child domain. The following requirements I need to meet, 1. Single GAL for both child1 and child2 users. 2. Certain group of users from child2 are hidden for child1 users. 3. Those hidden group of users are available for child2. How I could make use of ABP to meet the requirements? Perhaps we don't need ABP as default child1 and child2 are avaiable in the GAL. Kelvin Teang

You have a lot of really good consultants in HP. None of them can help you?! What you need are address books with restricted views, and it's not easy to do, certainly not the kind of thing you can get a step-by-step on in a forum such as this one. But you can google that phrase and start putting the pieces together on how to do it.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hello Kelvin, I think you can use ABP create two GAL and address lists for child1 and child2 users, this way you can make groups and users only avaiable for one domain users. Here is a related document for you, hope can give you some help: Understanding Address Book Policies http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh529948.aspx Thanks, EvanEvan Liu TechNet Community Support
