2nd accepted domain
I've installed a new Exch 2007 on a new Win2k3 server .64 box. All is e-mail functions are working properly even to PDA's after a new cert (crazy). Ok so now I want to add a accepted domain, which I was able to do with no problem, even created a new e-mall policy. so now I have two domains. 1. abc.com (all works) 2. accepted domain is abc-na.com, users can not recieve from the outside but can recieve internally and owa internally. so when I use my yahoo or gmail accout to send to user@abc-na.com it comes back as undeliverable. mx record was created for abc-na.com and also for abc.com any suggestions?

Hi, It would be better to know the entire environment. Have you deployed Edge server? If so, please check whether the same configuration has been synchronized on the edge server. Currently, the most likely cause of this issue is the MX record. To ensure Internet user could send the email with abc-na.com address, we need to properly configure your domain's MX Record that you should contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or the party responsible for hosting your DNS Domain name. They will ask you for your FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) and IP address of your mail server. Below article is the description of how to configure other domains as your reference. http://www.petri.co.il/configure-exchange-2007-recieve-email-other-domains.htm Thanks Allen

I don't have an Edge server. It's a one Exchange Server 2007 setup but I didn't install Edge. MX records are pointing to the correct IP address. I have already double checked with our ISP provider. I even did a MX Lookup to make sure. But both domains use the same MX record but that shouldn't be a problem. I just sent another test e-mail same results: Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.<yahoo.com.I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. is mail hitting your Exchange server direkt or does it via another box on DMZ or perhaps a SMTP funktion in the firewall? in that case you have to configure that server with the 2:nd domain as well
