2k3 mail enabled public folder show up as mail disable in Ex2k7
Most of our public folders that are mail enable in Exchange 2003 don't show up as mail enabled in Exchange 2007. Any idea what's causing this?

Probable screwed up mapi properties somewhere along the line. Was the Exch org originally a 5.5 org? What happens when you mail-enable one as a test? It should be ok and still retain its original SMTP addresses if the mail-enabled object still exists under the Microsoft Exchange System Objects container.

Yes, they were 5.5 public folders long ago and all the email addresses show up once I mail enable the folder through the Ex2k7 GUI. Any way to verify what's broken so I can provide more info to my management?Thank you.

If you can mail-enable them and successfully post to those folders, set permissions etc.. then you should be good to go. 5.5 automatically mail-enabled any public folder by default, and 2007 sometimes gets a little whacky with those folders. Mail-enabling them in 2007 typically sets things right again and cleans up any lingering issues.
