You can always have One InterFacing CAS Server But if you want Server Failover to happen You should go for High Availability Solutions. CAS array for Client Access Server DAG for Mailbox Server --- Assuming you are having All roles installed on the Same Server Microsoft Network Load Balance won't work for CAS array. You should Use a 3rd party NLB DAG will work complelety fine Satheshwaran Manoharan | Exchange 2003/2007/2010 | Blog:http://www.careexchange.in | Please mark it as an answer if it really helps you

You Asked me a 15 Page Document in 2 Lines Just kidding ----------- Watch this video - To get some idea about CAS array https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7eeSC_iHR8 ---------- Creating DAG for Mailbox Server http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351172.aspx -------- If you have Servers Ready Start Creating a DAG first , Finish the Easy part.
