i cannot relase and renew the IPs, because they are static. on a corporate network. the problem is that when i started here they wanted to reformat and reinstall the os on these computers, and to rename them. the problem is that the orginal name of the computer is still associated with the IP, but the new name is not. how can i remove any reference to the original name and redirect the domain/AD to the new name.
