2 companies using 1 email domain how ?
Hi we are looking at partnering with a 3rd party for a specific project, we currently have users@mycompany.com and they have users@theircompany.com. for this project we need to use a domain users@mergedcompany.com so we can email client from both our companies to appear as one! both companies are on exchange 2007 /2010 and can both be on 2010 if needs be. what would be the best way for the other comapny to be able to send and recieve from this new domain if we are hosting it ? would we have to create mailboxes on our server for each of there users needing an email address on user@mergedcompany.com or would truested domain / relaying mean they can have there own mailboxes and email would flow to them trhough our server hope this makes sense any suggestions ideas welcome thanksAmatsoukis

Hi Amatsoukis, You have answered also in your question, You can not have address space @mergedcompany.com in both of Exch environment. You can create accepted domain for @mergedcompany.com into your Exch ORG and set up send connector to send message for @theirecompany.com. Create contact account for them in your ENV so you can forward message to them. http://www.petri.co.il/configure-exchange-2007-recieve-email-other-domains.htm Anil
