2003 Multiple IP addresses
Hi, I have multiple domains using multiple IP addresses. I currently have all the emails coming through one IP address(assigned to exchange). I want to set it up so that the different domains use theindividual IP addresses I have. (Basically I don't want the different domains showing the same IP) Is this possible to do in 2003 server and if so how? Any advice/pointers will be much appreciated.

If you are talking about external people looking up the A/MX record for each domain, and getting an different address for each, could you not handle this through External DNS and a have the network guys setup NATs? Have all the external addressesNATto the same internal address. If it is outbound IPs you don't want the same, a NAT with a Route Map? If you have a seperate networking team, I would get them involved before I would start adding addresses to the Exchange server. I know I shouldn't but I have to ask.. Why? Is there a reason you don't want domain1, domain2, domain3 all pointing to the same external IP? As long as DNS is setup correctly, there are no issues with this. The only times I see people wanting this is in a hosting environment, and it is usually involving a lot of different servers.
