04I in MessageInfo field of Tracking Results
Have a user complaining that a meeting request was not delivered to an internal recipient. There was one other invitee to whom the message was delivered. When performing message tracking, for the participant who was not delivered, the MessageInfo field contains "04I" and the EventID field shows "Received" instead of delivered. The other user to whom this was addresses shows a "Delivered" EventID with a time stamp in the MessageInfo field. What does 04I mean? Where did this message go - it was obviously recieved.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124375.aspx?ppud=4lists the different fields. Note that the MessageInfo field is relevant for DELIVER and SEND events (Its the data and time in UTC), but not really for RECEIVE events. Since it was received and not delivered, I would check in the local queues on the Hub Transport.

I would also check if User had created any rules in OL which might be preventing him to recv these meeting requests. and would try launching his OL using outlook.exe/cleanrules Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Hi Jim, As Andy explained, if a message is submitted by using Outlook/OWA and deliver to local user, you should get two events: EventID Source Receive StoreDriver Deliver StoreDriver The Receive event indicated that message is submitted to Hub Server for processing. The Deliver event indicated that the message is delivered to mailbox. Therefore, please let me know whether senders mailbox and recipients mailbox are on same mailbox server. In addition, as Andy suggested, please review Queue Viewer to check whether the message stuck in the queue.
