Hi all I have a user who is unable to load the home page of his wss 2.0 sharepoint site. He is able to access other pages on the same site just not the default.aspx. I have no problem accessing the home page. What I have noticed is that there are mutliple web parts on the home page and when viewing it in Frontpage it seems to be loading many documents in the background. I was thinking that perhaps the home page is actually just taking very long to load as there are so many items for it to load. But this does not explain why I am able to access the home page within a few seconds whereas the user has waited up until an hour with no success. My question is two-fold: Are all the items and documents loaded (in cache or wherever) by default when opening web parts? Is there anyone else who had faced or are facing similar issues? If so, please advise if there's anything I can attempt to resolve this issue?
