It seems that another thread occurred with the working email addresses:
I've filled in all the user's working email addresses through the admin - sharepoint - user profiles.
When clicking on the user's "send an email" icon - it shows the correct working email. However, when sending an invitation or sharing files with some users the notification is sent to the ...@...onmicrosoft.com not to the working email address.
(I've tested this sharing the file with the list of internal users and include my personal external email - when I received the notification on my personal external email some users have their sharepoint user name (..@...onmicrosoft.com) and others their working emails). I checked - all these users have the correct assigned working emails.)
Please help to find out how to sort the problem.
