windows cant restart into recovery environment

My Toshiba notebook L755-16C, have system image  to recover into factory setup, its not working now,  when trying to run it, a pop window shows that- window cant restart into Windows recovery Environment to complete the recovery operation.

I tried with the recovery DVD which I created before also now not working with this, the same message coming.

I tried to create a new recovery media by the recovery media creator a window pop shows that 'window searching for TRMCLchr.exe cant find, that may changed or moved'

Please help me to sort out the problem to return the laptop to factory setup

Recovery may be very specific to notebook model. Ask vendor support/forum

I suggest you check the hard drive.  If Windows is bootable run chkdsk /r in an elevated command prompt.  If not use a bootable media.

Hi

First, if the installation media is not corrupted, you can check the solution on this KB article:

You cannot start Windows Recovery Environment after you start a computer by using the installation DVD that has been provided by the computer manufacturer

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/951495/

You are right to try to create a new media, as we suspect that the media is broken.

For the error that TRMCLchr.exe cant find, it can be caused if the creator application has been broken.

You can refer to the similar thread on Toshiba support page:

For further help, youd better to contact the manufacturer since they will be more familiar with their own products.
