why in targetedupdate i found 2 updates with the same ArticleID but different UniqueID?
Hi to everyone if someone could help me it will be appreciated. Thanks. p.s. someone other than that one could help me to how undestand if an update after scanned its installed? (maybe change the state and status?) Thanks

It is normal to have multiple updates listed for a particular ArticleID, for example one for Windows XP and another for Windows 7. Once a SU is installed, its state will change from Needed to Installed after the next Software Update scan cycle has been performed. http://www.enhansoft.com/

I'll see that a lot for things related to .net; same articleid, but there are different updates for .net 2, .net 3.5, .net 4, and then variations again for each OS, or x86 vs x64. One .net article ID often turns into a dozen uniqueids.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.
