Which steps are you talking about within Niall's guide? Give the link the the guide. What error or errors are you getting? Have you look at the log, what does it say? Have you looked at the OSD report that gives the history of a task sequence, What does it say? There is far too little details here for anyone to help you. Update this post with a lot more detail. http://www.enhansoft.com/

What does the log say? Which of the two method did you use Collection Var or Script? As I have said before, if you dont like Nialls guide then is nothing else out there. Your only remaining options are: Take the 6451 course this course will give you a complete overview do CM07Take the MS course in deep OSD course, you will need to talk to your TAM about getting access to this course. Take the third party course on OSD, This is the best course out there on ODS 5 full days on the subject, however it assumes that you already know: How to use CM07How to create a simple OSD task sequenceHow to create a simple imageHow to access and read the log filesHow to read the built-in reportsUnderstand the basic of USMTUnderstand Windows 7 and how to configure it If you dont meet these minimum requirements, then dont bother wasting your time taking this course. Or you could hire someone with OSD experience and get them to mentor you on this type of stuff. http://www.enhansoft.com/
