Site templates are stored in the SharePoint database and can be accessed through template galleries. Refer below link, which may useful. http://www.datasprings.com/Resources/ArticlesInformation/SharePointMOSS2007SiteTemplates.aspx Thanks & Regards, Neerubee

>Refer below link, which may useful. > http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc288952(office.12).aspx 1. It's an article for WSS 2.0 (see the Title of it) 2. It has a lot about site templates but doesn't say where they are "stored physically" as far as I could see. 2010 Books: SPF 2010; SPS 2010; SPD 2010; InfoPath 2010; Workflow etc. 2007 Books: WSS 3.0; MOSS 2007; SPD 2007; InfoPath 2007; PerformancePoint; SSRS; Workflow Both lists also include books in French; German; Spanish with even more languages in the 2007 list.

Please keep in mind that a template will retain the ID of the definition on which it's based and as such, can't be used freely, or on farms/sites that don't use the same foundation definition. It's also not suggested to have a high number of sites use templates that are stored in the content databases.http://www.final-exodus.net
