Hi Sandy Please find the below article from Kevin on the SQL MP http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2010/09/08/configuring-run-as-accounts-and-profiles-in-r2-a-sql-management-pack-example.aspx Donald D'souza (http://donald-scom.blogspot.com/)

Hi In the past the account that is monitoring needed SQL SysAdmin rights. This has changed for non-clustered SQL Servers in the latest version of the SQL MP although it is a long winded process to setup monitoring using a low privileged account: Official documentation: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd767431.aspx Kevins Blog article is a little out of date. The steps for configuring the Run As Accounts and Profiles haven't changed though and if you don't want to use the low privileged monitoring option then it is still 100% accurate in detailing how to set up these accounts.
