web parts disappears on edit

we have a page with 4 content editor web parts, 4 list web parts and 2  "SQL server reporting services report" web parts.

When I click on edit page and then edit web part (no matter which) all the web parts disappears. What could be the cause?

Hi Endeka,

I would think the cause is your Content Editor Web Parts. Could you try removing them and trying this again?

Also are you doing any CSS overwriting in those editor web parts? if so which and do you per chance link them to a script file?

Pieter

Hi,

No, I don't have any CSS. The content editor web parts are just for some info about every list. So just text...

I assume you don't have any brading work done (either CSS or customer master page or page layout).

-> You can try browsing to page and append ?contents=1 in the browser address bar.

-> Just try closing the web part, and add one at a time and see after adding which web part you get this error.

-> Then you can troubleshoot that particular web part why it is causing this error.

Hi,

Tnx for the reply but I already know when I get the "error", it's when I add the second  "SQL server reporting services report" web part.

This requires a more in-depth level of troubleshooting which not feasible through Forums. I suggest you to raise a support ticket (Please visit the below link to see the various paid support options that are available to better meet your needs: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=fh;en-us;offerprophone.)

However, other members of the community may still have encountered the issue you're seeing, and may have a solution to offer!
