virtual desktops

finally upgraded to 10! which brings a lot of questions.

one of them, I created two virtual desktops and tried to give different wallpapers. but it doesn't happen. when I change the wallpaper of desktop1, the same wallpaper is used with desktop2.

so how can one easily differentiate the desktops this way? (aside from the numbering).

also, how do you switch between deskstops using the keyboard?

Agreed, I thought I could customize each desktop separately, but when I removed some shortcuts from one of them, the 2nd one had them missing too, not sure what the point of having virtual desktops if they are not customizable other than running different apps on different desktops.

found it. using Ctrl+Win+ left or right arrow keys switches between desktops.

but still the Desktop settings are weird. all virtual desktops have the same background. what's the point of having virtual desktops if one cannot make individual, separate configurations with them?

Hi,

The goal of virtual desktop is to help organize windows or tasks in different desktop, not for some personal settings.

You may confused with multiple monitor settings, we can easily set different desktop:
