hi all,

Any one is having idea.I have a  sharepoint custom list out of box.in that have to implement .is it possible with sharepoint Formula and custom message

1)EmpID=allow only numbers

2)EmpName=allow only Alphabates and space

3)Date=

Hi,

1)You can create a column named EmpID as numbers type so it'll allow only numbers or if you have EmpID as single lines of text , in column validation settings give the formula as =ISNUMBER([EmpID]+0)
