hi, when i had add AD users in the SP groups, some users (not all) appear in the root folder with the groups themselves. is there anybody know the reason? thanks Marc.

Hi, these users are probably getting the permission Limited Access ( you check using the site permissions) This happens because somewhere in the site there is a list or library with broken inheritance and separate permissions. The Limited Access permission is required for users to browse the hierarchy of the site eventhough they do not have access everywhere.
