use hyperlink for expand all/collapse all
Hi, We are using SSRS 2005. I know how to do Expand all/collapase all drilldown using boolean parameter. My user is asking if there is a way to provide a link (1 link) in parameter area or Header. Label will be Expand All. When user clicks on this it should expand drill down and label should show collapse all and vice versa. Is this possible. I didn't find any resources when I googled. I appreciate your response. Thanks, Spunny

Hi Spunny, You could achievet this requirement in this way: 1. Create a report1, all of the groups are collapsed, there is a textbox1 with string "Expand all". 2. Create report2, all of the groups are expanded, there is a textbox2 with string "Collapse all". 3. Add an action of Go to report to textbox1 to go to report2. 4. Add an action of Go to report to textbox2 to go to report1. After these steps, I think you could achieve the effect. Of course, this is just a workaround not a grace solution. Hi Challen fu and spunny, I was looking for the same... But d way u said i have already done it. But the thing is that we are maiking two reports with same data and in real time scenario it is quite hard to digest. What i am thinking is to make it happen in single report only by using any settings or like. Plz share it if you already got.Regards, Amey
