Hi,
Did the CMS deploy on this Lync Standard Edition?
If yes, please firstly delete the CMS using the command such as following :
Uninstall-CsDatabase -CentralManagementDatabase SqlServerFqdnsv01lyncfe01. Nissarte.ca -SqlInstanceName rtc
Then remove this pool again.

Eason Huang
Hi,
Please publish the topology firstly, and then remove pefe01.pre.local and publish topology again.
Then make sure CMS replication update to the latest version.
Then check it again.

can you use get-csmanagementstoreconnection and post it then we can confirm location of CMS.
If this was the first Lync server and its standard edition is will home the CMS which must be moved before you can decommission it. the topology above shows enterprise edition pool and looks like SQL servers.
Was PEFE02 a standard edition Lync 2010 or Lync 2013 Server ?
move info we have the better.
still can't clean up the pfe02.
pefe01 and pefe02 is enterprise edition with same pool lync 2013.
Hi,
Already you try to move the CMS?
Hi Jo, sorry for the late reply. Does pfe02 still show in the Lync 2013 Topology Builder ? Also was it a 2010 or 2013 server ?
can you also try get-csmangementconnection as well and post that please.
Thanks
Martin
yes. Do you know can I do any clean up on the ADSIedit?
Hi Jo, whats odd is that you shouldnt have been able to remove the Server hosting the CMS from topology builder and it appears in the screenshots CMS is not hosted on that server which is odd.
can you run
get-csmanagementstoreconnection
we can check the CMS location thats registered in AD.
How did you remove the server from topology builder, was there an errors ?
ADSI edit and deleting from AD is very much a last resort as could cause more issues.
