hi i have found this error couple of times on one of the site yesterday. unable to connect to database. check database connection infotmation adn make sure this server is running, at microsoft.sharepoint.library.SPRequestInternalClass.preIntServer(String bstrAbsoluteRequestUrl, .......... ) any help is appreciated

start ur sharepoint SQL server's SQL Agent. go to services.msc and check SQL SERVER AGENT is in running mode or not.

Hi, From your post, just one of the sites appears this error? Other sites is ok? If I didn’t misunderstand you, you have to check the content database which belong the application of this site in SQL Server Studio tool; And check this database is available or not. Hope this helps Thanks! Stanfford

Hi Tan, It's problem with Application pool.some times when ever a new features add to the site or when ever some custom work is done for the site application pool may stops. if this is the case you simply open inetmger in start--->run Right click the application pool of the webapplication and click start. Please let me if this works
