Hello _Kumar, If you wrap it inside a stored proc then probably yes, I have not tried, but this is something that marked as a proposed answer over there: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/sqlintegrationservices/thread/d6c86637-b1e5-4642-a1db-acf9d6b20b98/Arthur My Blog

Hi Arthur, I am afraid that the OLEDB Command transform cannot capture the return value from a scalar function. You can work around this by calling the function inside a stored procedure, and returning the function's return as an output parameter from the procedure just as you know. And we can also define the function in .NET and use it within a Script Component to process the data. For more information about it, please refert to the following link: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlintegrationservices/thread/f7e391b6-0733-4442-bcb7-dd664eb4d660/ Both of this are workarounds for you, if you have concern about it, please submit a feedback at http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/Feedback and hope Microsoft improve this feature in the next service pack or product release. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Eileen
