trouble with criteria in DL
Hi All, I am in the midst of an Exchange 2010 migration, and I am creating criteria based groups to annouce to the users that they are scheduled to be migrated. One of the things I want to use to filter is the exchange version, so I don't send the notice to people that have already been migrated. I have the msExchVersion flowing into FIM, but when I try to filter on "ExchVersion != 44220983382016, I get an error "failed to process the request unknown error" Thanks, Rich

Hi There, I've taken that value and compared it against an integer value in my system and have received the same error. Perhaps they have defined the "Integer" attribute class as Int32 with a limit of -2,147,483,648 through 2,147,483,647? Have you thought about converting the version number to a string, exporting it to the FIM Service that way? If I did that comparison against one of my string values it worked fine. Hope this helps. Thanks Blain. I will give that a shot. BTW, I was in your FIM Foundations class last year. Very helpful!
