the user running setup is not in sysadmin role in the operations manager database
I am trying to install SCOM 2007 R2 Reporting and getting "Error when installing OpsMgr Reporting: ‘Could not verify if current user is in sysadmin Role’ on the page where you input the name of the RMS.
1 Database + SQL Report Server; Server 2008 r2 + SQL 2008 SP1 (installed only Database SCOM portion)
1 RMS; Server 2008 r2 (installed RMS portion)
1 Datawarehouse Server; Server 2008 + SQL 2008 SP1 (installed only DW portion)
SQL Reporting is configured and working.
I have dissbaled all the firewalls
I can ping both servers and I can resolve their names with nslookup
The account I am trying to do the install with (domain\administrator) is in the SCOM Admin Group and local admin rights on 3 servers.
Account domain\administrator is sql SYSADMIN on both SQL servers (scom db & scom dw)
Accounts for the System Center Data Access service , System Center Management Center service are local admin on all 3 servers
Account for System Center Management is Local System Account
SPNs are registered output on the RMS server:

Run as Administrator didnt work, same error. Logged in as DAC account, same error. SPN look registered see start post. Im installing with domain\administrator (local admin & member of Operations Manager Administrator group) Service Accounts MSAA and DAC
are members of domain admins so SPN have to be good now. In eventlog on scom2 i see sql event error 17806 SSPI handshake failed 0x8009030c

BANG solved.
As it's Server 2008+ you have to disable loop back check
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click
OK. In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
Right-click Lsa, point to New, and then click
DWORD Value. Type DisableLoopbackCheck, and then press ENTER. Right-click DisableLoopbackCheck, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 1, and then click
OK. Quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer
